What facilities does a campsite shower block need?

Most sites need a combination of showers, toilets and basins, and many now want individual private rooms rather than shared blocks. Other considerations include accessible provision, a family room, washing-up and laundry space, and an external finish that suits the landscape.

Shared blocks or private bathrooms

Traditional amenity blocks have separate shared areas. Private bathroom blocks are divided into individual rooms with their own entrance, each potentially containing a shower, WC and basin. Room counts per module are confirmed by floor plan.

Finishes that suit rural sites

External decorative cladding is available at 20% of the shell price, helping the building sit naturally on a green site.

Common questions

What facilities does a campsite shower block need?

Typically showers, toilets and basins, with growing demand for private individual rooms. Accessible and family facilities are also common. Any licensing or local requirements should be confirmed with your local authority.

Can the building be externally clad?

Yes. External decorative cladding is available as an upgrade, priced at 20% of the module shell price. An 80mm insulated panel upgrade is also available at 10% of the shell price.

Can multiple modules be joined together?

Yes. Modules can be joined end-to-end to increase length, side-by-side to increase depth, or combined into larger multi-room buildings. This is how larger shower and changing facilities are created from the same module system.
